There’s a way to go diving at night, but you won’t unlock this feature right away. Continue reading to find out how to go diving during the evening.

Dave the Diver: How to unlock night diving

Your normal routine is probably going diving in the morning, afternoon, then working at the sushi bar for the entire evening. Early on during chapter two of Dave the Diver, you’ll learn how to go diving at night.

Before this quest arrives, night diving isn’t allowed. Once you receive the quest ‘A Noisy Customer’, speak to a customer at the bar, and they’ll request that you make them Moray Eel Curry.

The issue with this is that Moray Eels only come out at night. Luckily, the game will now allow you to dive one time at night. Just head back to your boat, and you can start your night diving. If not being able to make money at the sushi bar worries you, you’re in luck.

You’ll only consume a third of the evening diving, and the other two thirds will be at the sushi bar. Although you’ll earn less money at the restaurant, it’s worth it for catching nocturnal sea creatures.

Not only will you find the Moray Eel, but other less-friendly fish. Also, you’ll notice sharks will swim much closer to the surface than before. Another thing to add is that with the huge content update in October, there are a few new nocturnal species.

Night diving is risky, but if you’re prepped enough, it shouldn’t be too difficult for you. Bring along your best weapons, make sure you’ve upgraded your Harpoon weapon, and wear Charms that’ll help you stay alive.
