Early on in Dave the Diver, you’re tasked with catching White Spotted Jellyfish, and harvesting Sea Grapes. The only problem is that they’re located in a Stalactite Cave. In this diving adventure indie game, it can be disorienting trying to find you’re way around without a map. If you’re struggling to find where the Stalactite Cave is in Dave the Diver, keep on reading.
Dave the Diver: Stalactite Limestone Cave location
Where you can find the Stalactite Cave, better known as the Limestone Cave, in Dave the Diver is near the center of the Blue Hole, around 50-100 meters down. Without a map or markers, it can be hard trying to find a new location in this game. Luckily, once you find it, it’ll be easier getting back there in the future.
Less than 100 meters below the surface, near the center of the Blue Hole, is a more closed-off area. Once you enter it, the lighting will change to a greenish blue, and the game will announce you found the Limestone Cave. Notice the Stalactites? You’re in the right place.
For the ‘Gourmet Vincent’s Challenge’ quest, you’ll need to collect one White Spotted Jellyfish, one Sea Grape, and one Salt. Luckily, you can find Salt anywhere in the Blue Hole if you open the cooking pots. You’ll receive a random cooking ingredient with each pot, and sometimes you’ll get Salt.
Otherwise, you can find the White Spotted Jellyfish and Sea Grapes in the Limestone Cave. Collecting the Jellyfish alive is what makes it the best quality, so make sure to tranquilize it, or catch it in a net. This can be done through weapons like the Hush Dart or the Small Net Gun.
Once you nab a Jellyfish, look for plants on surfaces that are bright green Sea Grapes. To collect it, just cut one with your melee weapon by pressing ‘Left-click’ on your mouse. Then, just hit the ‘Spacebar’, and it’s in your inventory. Now you should have all the ingredients you need for this quest!
