If you’re like me and have sunk hours upon hours into BattleBit: Remastered, you’ve probably noticed how similar the shooter is to Battlefield. This isn’t really a bad thing, in fact, I think it does a better job at Battlfield’s formula. There’s a lot that these two games share, such as how loadouts work. But the one aspect that’s been catching players like myself by surprise is the vehicles. And for a game that is early access at the time of writing this guide, there’s a large variety. Just like in Battlefield, aerial vehicles such as helicopters are not only tie-breakers, but they’re rather popular. BattleBit: Remastered has the same meta. However, if you are puzzled about how to spawn a helicopter in BattleBit: Remastered, read this guide to find your answer.
BattleBit: Remastered: How to spawn a helicopter
Unlike weapons which you have to get kills in order to unlock, vehicles are available at the start. This means the various helicopters in BattleBit: Remastered spawn on their own randomly, so the best thing to do is to wait for it to appear.
For the helicopter’s drop rate, I noticed it was appearing less frequently than the land-based vehicles. This could be attributed to the balancing of the game, which is an issue most Battlefield games suffer. My guess could be if a few players are using the helicopter, that could throw the balance of the match off, and make it one-sided. Spawning less gives the other team a fighting chance since everyone, for the most part, is equal.
Since the helicopter class is a popular one, you’ll need to get to it quickly if you want to use it.
How does the helicopter work?
They are similar to how they operate in Battlefield. You can have gunners on each side, plus some room for passengers. Depending on which helicopter you use, the capacity changes. This is because there are three different types of helicopters in BattleBit: Remastered. Before hopping into one, take note of which helicopter you’re using. Additionally, all the helicopters have front-end weapons, so you could potentially have dog fights.
Also, to use any vehicles, including the helicopter, make sure you’re playing on the larger map sizes such as 127 v 127.
BattleBit: Remastered is in early access now via Steam.
