Where to find the Haunted Crossbow in Diablo 4

Diablo 4 offers a long and detailed core storyline, but the real fun starts after completion. The joyful grind of leveling, gear collection, and boss destruction begins when the storyline ends with a character. There are so many weird and wonderful elements in Diablo 4 as the game opens up in World Tier 3 and 4. One of the weapons locked behind the higher tiers is the Haunted Crossbow, a Rogue weapon in Diablo 4.

The Haunted Crossbow packs a punch but can only be found in one location on the map and is only dropped by one enemy. This makes it pretty easy to find, provided you’re at the right level and know where it is. You can find the Haunted Crossbow just northwest of the Wejinhani spawn point in Hawezar.

Teleport to this location and make your way to the point on the map. Here you will find the Elite enemy, Renn Dayne. They will be within a protective bubble, so prepare for close-range fighting. Hammer away at them until they pass away, then prepare to fight their ancestor, Claudia. Defeating this woeful pair will award you with the Haunted Crossbow in Diablo 4.

If you turn up at the spot and they’re not there, never fear; they will be eventually. This is usually caused by the fact that another player has come across them recently and slain them. You simply need to wait for them to pop back into the game. There are a few small events nearby to pass the time.

About the Haunted Crossbow

The Haunted Crossbow is a two-handed weapon for the Rogue. It is perfect for Shadow-focused builds as it can provide between 7 and 14% Shadow damage. As well as this, it also has +20% Vulnerable Damage, 12.5 – 19.5% Core Skill Damage, and 16.5 – 23.5% Damage to close enemies.
