Fight fire with lightning.

The Levinbolt is another of Final Fantasy 16‘s unique weapons that Clive can create. It’s not available until a certain part of the storyline occurs. But once you reach this point, you’ll be able to get a pretty strong sword that can deal with enemies a little quicker. Which is something you’ll definitely want at this part of the game. So, here’s how you can get the Levinbolt in Final Fantasy 16.

Final Fantasy 16: How to get the Levinbolt

The Levinbolt can be crafted at the Black Hammer in the Hideaway. But it only appears after a fairly major story segment. Without giving too much away, you won’t be able to get the weapon until you’ve unlocked the third Eikon. Essentially, if you only have Phoenix and Garuda, you won’t be able to get the Levinbolt just yet. So keep progressing through the game until you get the third Eikon.

Before you can actually make the Levinbolt in Final Fantasy 16 you’ll need some materials. You should already have plenty of Meteorite on hand and the Levinbolt only requires two of these. The Lightning Shard is something you receive in the storyline, so you should have that too. The only thing you might lack is the Flametongue sword. But this is a pretty easy weapon to get as well. Once you’ve got it, you’re all set to make the Levinbolt.

Clive’s swanky new sword is pretty unique. It’s meant to invoke a sort of electrical theme, and it suitably looks pretty cool. Unfortunately, it doesn’t offer any unique features or abilities that Clive’s other weapons don’t already have. It’s simply a weapon that deals a little more damage. But it’s hard to complain about that. Enemies in Final Fantasy 16 can sometimes be tanky and tricky to deal with, so the Levinbolt will come in handy. Especially since this is the point in the game where some of the harder content, like Final Fantasy 16‘s Hunts, becomes available.

Final Fantasy 16 is available on PlayStation 5.
