Final Fantasy 16: Gelatinous Mass location, explained

To find Gelatinous Mass in Final Fantasy 16, you need to defeat the Flan Prince Notorious Mark located in Rosaria. Though you can visit a Hunt Board to get details on the Flan Prince Notorious Mark’s location, which is listed on the board as Muddy Murder, you can find the elite enemy in the south of Rosaria, in Hawk’s Cry Cliff.

How to defeat Flan Prince Notorious Mark in Final Fantasy 16

Flan Prince is Notorious Mark ranked A which means he is a tough optional boss to defeat. If you know how to heal and have the best abilities equipped, you’ll be able to take out Flan Prince.

Be sure to use a lot of dashes and dodges to avoid his attacks and close in when an opportunity to deal damage presents itself. When I faced Flan Prince, I relied on potions for health and successfully dodged when I could. When I staggered him, I was able to deal a lot of damage by using my abilities. Though it might take some time, you’ll defeat Flan Prince by using your abilities and successfully dodging incoming attacks.

Once Flan Prince is defeated, you’ll earn one Gelatinous Mass, 12,000 Gil, and 30 Renown. With the Gelatinous Mass in hand, you can return to The Black Hammer to craft the Drakeslayer’s Bracelets. Well done!
