The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has a lot of different things that you can find yourself doing in the massive game world it presents you with. You can spend your time doing side quests, hunting for upgrade materials, or even just building your own car to get around in, there’s truly no end to the content in this game. One of the things you can do is find and talk to the many characters and NPCs. You can spend time with many people new and old in the sequel to Breath of the Wild. Many of the characters you once knew have different locations from where they once were in Breath of the Wild. One of the returning characters in Tears of the Kingdom is Paya, a fan-favorite member of the Sheikah. Here’s our guide on where to find Paya in Tears of the Kingdom.
Where to find Paya in Tears of the Kingdom
You can find Paya in Kakariko Village in Tears of the Kingdom. In the time that has passed since Breath of the Wild, Paya has been promoted to chief, having the title passed down to her by Impa. This means she’s always around Kakariko Village somewhere.
With her new duties as the chief, Paya spends her time around different locations in Kakariko Village. You can often find her inside her house, which is the big one up the stairs at the bottom of Kakariko Village, and the one Impa used to live in in Breath of the Wild.
Depending on when you go to find her, you can also find her investigating the Ring Ruins of Kakariko Village. If she is here, you can usually find Paya investigating them from the ground with Tauro. This will be a required step for a quest in the endgame of Tears of the Kingdom. You can also find her wandering around Kakariko Village.
Hopefully with these tips you should be able to find Paya for whatever you want to see her for, whether that’s just to say hi or for a certain quest.
