Where to find Kuhsagi Lightroot in Tears of the Kingdom (TotK)

Into the Depths!

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom offers three planes to explore: the sky, the depths, and a vast open world. You can undertake labyrinths scattered across the map, leading to new Depth areas with hard-to-reach Lightroots. Here’s how to find Kuhsagi Lightroot in Tears of the Kingdom.

In Tears of the Kingdom, Kuhsagi Lightroot is located underneath the Lomei Labyrinth (Igashuk Shrine) in the north-east of the map. You need to complete the entire Labyrinth side quest to get to the Kuhsagi Lightroot. We’ll take you the steps you need to complete this and be able to get there.

How to navigate Lomei Labyrinth

The first part of the quest is pretty simple: you need to find the terminal inside the bars of the Lomei Labyrinth. One of the easiest ways of getting through these labyrinths is to simply climb to the top of the labyrinth and walk along the top, which allows you to look for where you need to go from above.

Once you reach the top of the labyrinth, head to the location on the map below. You should be able to see a path leading inside the center of the labyrinth where the Igashuk Shrine is, and that’s where you need to go.

How to complete the Lomei sky labyrinth

The sky labyrinth you need to complete to find the Kuhsagi Lightroot is a bit trickier as it requires you to find four terminals, but it’s also relatively easy if you can get to the top of the labyrinth. Just like the other labyrinth you need to complete, you can climb to the top of the labyrinth to find the terminals that are on the map.

Sadly, you can’t climb any of the interior walls, but you can climb the external walls. One of the terminals has an Ascendable ceiling, which I found, so there may be more of those around. The terminals being marked on the map make this labyrinth a lot easier than it looks.

After doing that, it’s time to head to the Depths through the newly opened hole, down to Kuhsagi Lightroot.

Finding the Kuhsagi Lightroot

Descending into the Depths below the Lomei Labyrinth places you in the Lomei Depths Labyrinth. Most of this structure comes out to a flat roof, and that’s where the Kuhsagi Lightroot is. There is also a route up there via some stairs, but if you Ascend from the location in the image below, you should be able to get to the Lightroot a lot quicker.

While in Lomei Depths Labyrinth, you can fight the Flux Construct III here to get the Evil Spirit Armor, Ganondorf’s classic armor, and two Zonai Charges. The second Zonai Charge is on a landing overlooking the boss area. There’s also a Zonaite Bow in a Chest on the east side and a Solider IV Spear on the West.
