Where to find and farm Blue Nightshade in Tears of the Kingdom (TotK)

By the light of the moon...

You’ll find a lot of different resources in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. A surprising number of those materials are flowers. Here is our guide telling you where to find and farm Blue Nightshade in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Tears of the Kingdom – where to find and farm Blue Nightshade

If you want to be super sneaky, Blue Nightshade is the flower for you. You can include it as an ingredient in a wide variety of dishes, and it adds the Stealth attribute. You can also use it when making Blue Dye at Kochi Dye Shop in Hateno Village.

To find and farm Blue Nightshade, look for ‘quieter’ areas throughout Hyrule. The in-game Hyrule Compendium suggests searching in the Great Hyrule Forest and West Necluda regions in particular.

My favorite place to find Blue Nightshade is on a knoll along the southeast shore of Rutile Lake, which is located southwest of Satori Mountain and Sonapan Shrine. In that area, you can find a whole patch of them growing close together, which makes farming easy. They are especially easy to spot at night because they glow a bit. See the above screenshot for their precise location.

Another good option is the Farosh Hills south of Popla Foothills Skyview Tower. There are a few small ponds here, near an enemy stronghold. Between them, you should find quite a few of the flower. Just be careful of the enemy presence. See the above screenshot to know exactly where to farm.

Finally, check near Kakariko Village. You will find a Blue Nightshade growing on the higher hill behind Makasura Shrine. There are others in the region, as well. Blue Nightshade isn’t extremely rare until the exact moment you start looking for it, or at least that has been my experience.
