How to get Dinraal’s Horn in Tears of the Kingdom

The first step to getting Dinraal’s Horn is to find Dinraal itself. You can find Dinraal in the northeast of the map, and if you need a more in-depth guide about that, you can find one Dinraal’s precise location on PC Invasion.

Dinraal’s route goes from the East Akkala Plains Chasm to the Drenan Highlands Chasm, around the top of the map. You can get there pretty easily from nearby Skyview Towers, and there are places in the sky to land to wait for Dinraal if you can’t find the elemental dragon immediately. If you can’t find Dinraal above ground, Dinraal also travels underground on the wrapping from where it enters the ground to where it exits. In my opinion, It’s a lot harder to find Dinraal underground, so I recommend just waiting for Dinraal above ground.

Getting Dinraal’s Horn

Moving on to actually retrieving Dinraal’s Horn, you need to approach Dinraal from the sky. When you get close to Dinraal, you’re going to want to aim an arrow at its horns. This will then cause a piece of Dinraal’s Horn to go flying in a direction, which you can follow to the ground and grab, either after you land or during the fall if you can and want one of the most satisfying experiences in gaming this year, in my opinion.

You can also try to land on Dinraal and get a horn that way, but this can be a dangerous procedure as Dinraal’s body is very hot, and you require two pieces of Flame Guard armor to even set foot on Dinraal. If you have that, then you’re in luck, as you can simply land on Dinraal, run up to its horns, swing any old weapon at it, and claim your prize a little easier than having to run and dive after it from the sky.
