How To Find And Unlock Waypoints In Diablo 4

How to find and unlock waypoints in Diablo 4

Don't go alone without knowing this!

Diablo 4 is the biggest game in the series and features a massive, sprawling world. This can take you a while to cross, and for good measure, there’s no shortage of things to do. Traveling can seem cumbersome much like any open-world game that’s set in a large world, but Diablo makes it easier to get around. There are few ways to do this, however, fast traveling seems to be the quickest. This guide will show you how to find, and unlock waypoints in Diablo 4.

Diablo 4: How to find and unlock waypoints

If you’ve played the opening act set in Fractured Peaks, you can already get a taste of how large the world will be. Waypoints are mostly located in towns and villages, so you’ll always end up in a hub.

For example, one waypoint in Fractured Peaks is located in Kyovashad, the capital of the region. So no matter where you are, you’ll normally fast travel to a safe location.

Finding them and unlocking them is rather easy, and can be done while you’re doing the story. As mentioned, they’re located in main areas like villages and towns.  To unlock them you simply need to just walk over one, and it’ll turn blue. So whenever you teleport, you’ll land at the last town you were in.

On top of that, you can do this as many times as you want. There doesn’t seem to be a long cool down. You can also teleport out of dungeons and places far away, so they can be used as an effective exit strategy.

More ways to get around

Since Diablo 4 is large and waypoints cut down traveling time, this may seem like the best way. However, for the first time in the series, you can get mounts. If you opt to take a scenic route and still want to travel quickly, consider using this mode of transportation.
