How to complete Hebra’s Colossal Fossil in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (TotK)

Before starting Hebra’s Colossal Fossil, you must talk to Loone near the East Akkala Stable at coordinates 4330, 2819, 0141 and complete Eldin’s Colossal Fossil mission. Otherwise, she will not appear in the cave where you complete Hebra’s Colossal Fossil Mission. Once completed, Loone will automatically start the Hebra’s Colossal Fossil quest and show you its location on the map. If you don’t have this, you must complete the first steps.

Head to the location marked on the map above coordinates: -3804, 3480, 0259. The easiest way to get there is by using the Pikida Stonegrove Skyview Tower.

Head inside the cave and speak with Loone. She will tell you some of the missing bones, prompting you to locate them for her.

You will need to locate the following fossils:

  • Fin Bone
  • Spine Bone

After talking to Loone, use your glider to head down to the left side of the cavern, where you will find the missing Fin Bone.

However, blowing up the rocks surrounding it would be best before you can grab it. I found the best way to do this is by shooting Yunobo at them.

Once done, use the Ultrahand ability to carry the fossil to the location with the missing Fin Bone, which Loone showed you in the introduction.

After the Fin Bone is connected, turn to your left, and you will see a giant block of ice. You can melt the ice in several ways, but I used a Zonai Flame Emitter.

Once melted, grab the Spine Bone with the Ultrahand ability and carry it to the second location Loone showed you in the introduction. You’ll need to rotate it as seen in the picture and then slide it into place.

Head back to Loone, and you will be rewarded with a Purple Rupee for your trouble. This will also let you start Gerudo’s Colossal Fossil quest.
