Tears of the Kingdom – where to find the Trousers of the Wind

The Trousers of the Wind are part of the Wind Armor set. When you equip the entire set, you produce an Attack Up effect so that Link does more damage in battle. That can be tremendously useful if you are a more offensive player.

To find the Trousers of the Wind, search the Cresia Pit Mine in the southeastern portion of the Depths. The mine is located as far to the southeast as you can get without exploring the large island.

To reach the Cresia Pit Mine, you’ll have to walk a bit. The closest useful fast travel point is Mimufis Lightroot (unfortunately, Kotimab Lightroot is on the wrong side of some steep geography). You will likely reach that portion of the map only after spending a lot of time groping about in the dark. Arriving by way of Meda Mountain Chasm helps. However, that chasm is a long way north of the relevant Lightroots. Bring a lot of Brightbloom Seeds when you go exploring.

From Mimufis Lightroot, journey southeast. First you should head uphill to the nearby Abandoned Lurelin Mine. From there, head mostly downhill and work your way toward the southeast. There are some tough enemy camps in this area. Steer clear of them. When I first explored the area and found the trousers, I hadn’t yet lit up the area. Even when fully lit by the nearest Lightroot, the area is exceptionally dark with a lot of gloom.

Proceed cautiously to reach the mine and its back end. At its entrance, you’ll encounter a platform with various Zonai devices. Use them to create a vehicle that can cruise along the water. Or, you might also use the Autobuild ability to produce one out of thin air. That’s what I do. Ride your watercraft forward and take out an Octorok. Then you’ll reach the mine’s deepest point. You’ll find the chest with the Trousers of Wind.
