Where to find Pristine weapons in Tears of the Kingdom (TotK)

Done with decay.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has an entirely new weapon system from Breath of the Wild. Now you have to build your own weapons, since the old ones decayed from the Upheaval. But what if I told you there was a place to find non-decayed weapons? These are called Pristine Weapons, and we’ll explain where to find them in Tears of the Kingdom.

How to get non-decayed Pristine weapons in Tears of the Kingdom

Even when you Fuse decayed weapons with items to make them stronger, they don’t have a ton of durability. That’s why it’s important to figure out where to find these Pristine weapons as early as possible in Tears of the Kingdom. The only location you can find them is in the Depths.

If you notice those giant Chasms on the surface of Hyrule, those are entrances to the Depths. Once you’re down there, there isn’t much light, so throw as many Brightbloom seeds as you can, and unlock any Lightroot you find.

In various locations across the Depths, you can spot a short stone structure with a ghostly figure on top. This shadowy figure will always be holding some sort of weapon. These are the Pristine weapons! Don’t be scared of these beings though, because as soon as you take the weapon, they disappear. It seems as though the decaying effects never touched the Depths after the Upheaval. Or maybe these are the souls of fallen soldiers holding their last weapons.

There are hundreds of these silhouettes with Pristine weapons scattered across the Depths, giving you numerous opportunities to ditch those decayed weapons for better ones. Any non-decayed weapon will have a sparkle symbol beside its title. You can still fuse any item on it, which will make it even better. These weapons can be anything like spears and swords, and have better attack power and durability.
