Spring forward to greatness.

In The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you can find numerous locations tucked away that reward a thorough search. Here is our guide telling you where to find the Spring of Courage in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Tears of the Kingdom – where to find the Spring of Courage

The Spring of Courage is inhabited by a statue that communes with the Mother Goddess, which is located off-site in the Forgotten Temple. Visit the spring and pray to the statue there to initiate the Goddess Statue of Courage side quest.

You will find the Spring of Courage a short distance south of Jiukoum Shrine. The spring is fairly well hidden in some ruins, so I like to start by finding that shrine. It serves as a reference point and makes future fast travel convenient.

Look for Jiukoum Shrine to the southeast of Popla Foothills Skyview Tower. It rests on a high cliff directly east from Lake Hylia, along the north side of the densely forested areas north of Highland Stable.

If you launch from Popla Foothills Skyview Tower, you can orient yourself in the air to face southeast as you descend. The shrine is out in the open, visible on the cliffs overlooking the expansive forest. Make sure you descend low enough from your dive to see it.

Once you locate Jiukoum Shrine, you’ve done most of the work. Fast travel to its front entrance and walk straight forward to drop from the cliff. Paraglide to the ruins below, which are crumbling. Pass through one of the numerous openings to find the spring and the sparkling statue. The game automatically marks the location on your map (see the above image).

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is available on the Nintendo Switch.
