As we get closer to going back to Hell, Blizzard Entertainment graced us with being able to play Diablo 4 a little early. While it won’t give anyone much of an advantage, you’ll get to see Lillth’s domain before anyone else. Blizzard has also stated that your character won’t be deleted unlike during betas in the past. So it may be in your best interests to get into the game early. Getting in early for the game may seem confusing. So read this guide on how to get early access to Diablo 4.
Diablo 4: How to get to early access
After a handful of successful betas, it looks like we’re finally ready to take on the creatures of the underworld. And as mentioned, some of us may be doing that a little early. Doing so is quite simple, but has left players confused. So let’s break it down for everyone.
There are 3 different versions of the game, and they have their own benefits. If you pre-ordered the Standard Edition of Diablo 4, you’ll get to play the game when it comes out on June 6. You won’t be able to play early, but you’ll get tons of bonuses like mount skins and other cosmetics.
To get early access on June 2, you must pre-order either the Deluxe Edition or the Ulitmate Edition. You’ll get all the bonuses of the Standard Edition, plus more.
If you have the Standard Edition and want to play early, you can upgrade. However, make sure you’re doing so either before early access or during.
When does early access run?
As mentioned, it starts on June 2; however, US-based players on the east coast can expect the early access to open up on June 1 at 4 PM PDT. For the west coast, your early access also starts on June 1, but at 7 PM. If you reside in Europe, the early access will go live around 12 AM based on London’s timezone. Asia will also launch early access on the same day but at 8 AM, based on Seoul’s timezone.
