For season 21 of Destiny 2, Season of the Deep, there’s quite a bit to do, like fishing. Granted, they’ll take time to accomplish, but regardless you’ll get lost for hours. Apart from the new Strand Aspect that the guardians can get, you also can travel to a new location. This is situated at the bottom of Titan, one of Saturn’s moons. When you reach it, you’ll get hit with many activities, one of which is called the Parting the Veil. This is a fairly hard mission to do, so read this guide on how to complete Parting the Veil in Destiny 2: Season of the Deep
Destiny 2Â Season of the Deep: How to complete Parting the Veil mission
The first thing you want to make sure of is that you must have completed the Nightfall expansion campaign. On top of that, you have to have beaten the Unfinished Business mission, a quest that finishes up the campaign of the expansion. This quest is rather hard and may take some time to complete. However, it’s worth your time since you get a free legendary Hand Cannon.
If you have those done, let’s begin. To start, head to Neomuna and speak to Nimbus. They’ll give you the mission.
The first part is that you need to defeat Cabal on Neomuna. Which can be easy to do. You can complete this by doing a public event, they usually spawn during these moments.
The next part is making your way to Maya’s Retreat and Irkalla Complex, you can find them easily if you have them selected from the Quest panel. Once you reach the area, kill all the enemies and collect Vex Data. Interlocutor Harpies drop these items, and they’re plenty around, so fight them when you can.
The last part is called the Parting the Veil. While easy and simple to follow, it’s a battle that you may lose. So make sure you’re geared up well beforehand. Now, assuming you’re strong enough, head to the Veil Facility, and look for a terminal to interact with. This will spawn a few waves of enemies, with a boss fight at the end. Clear out the enemies, and take care of the boss. After that you have completed the questline.
What you unlock
As mentioned earlier, you get the legendary hand cannon, Epochoal Integration, that has perks to switch between. But you also get a new Strand Aspect for free. To get these awards, simply Mediate at the Pouka Pond in the Hall of Heroes. It’s also worthwhile to note: the Strand Aspect you get depends on what subclass you are.
Destiny 2 is free to play via Steam.
