Where to find the Desert Voe armor in Tears of the Kingdom (TotK)

Getting some new armor.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom features numerous different types of armor. These can help you skydive further, increase certain stats, or even help you resist the elements. One of the heat resistance armors in the game is the Desert Voe armor. You can find this armor pretty early into your stay in the Gerudo Desert, and can make traversing heated areas a breeze. Here’s where to find the Desert Voe armor in Tears of the Kingdom.

The first part of the Desert Voe armor can be found at the Kara Kara Bazaar, which you can see on the map below. There’s a vendor here who’s selling the headpiece for this armor set, and tells you about a secret shop in Gerudo Town that’s selling the rest of the armor, with a vague hint as to where it is, saying it’s behind Fashion Passion.

Getting the rest of the armor

When you get to the location behind that shop, you’re unable to get in. Instead, you’re going to need to go underground and Ascend into the shop that sells the Desert Voe armor. You can get into the underground network you need to get into the shop by jumping into the hole you can see below, which is near the entrance of Gerudo Town.

Once you drop into this hole, continue down this path until you see some breakable rocks to your left. Break these rocks, and continue onwards. After continuing, you should see some more breakable rocks, break them, and then continue to the left, climbing a steep slope.

Upon climbing that slope, you should see some more breakable rocks, break these, and you should see an area to the left that’s marked by pillars. Proceed to the center of this area with the pillars and then use Ascend, and you should be in an armor shop in Tears of the Kingdom.

Inside this armor shop is where you can buy the Desert Voe armor set. To make sure you don’t need to go back down to the underground every time you want to come to this shop, you can use Ultrahand and move a box that’s blocking the door, which makes the door usable.
