The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom introduces a whole host of new abilities for Link to use. You can build your own contraptions and vehicles with Ultrahand. You can ascend through ceilings using Ascend. Recall allows you to rewind time on objects to allow you to complete puzzles, damage enemies, and reach new locations. But another ability you get in Tears of the Kingdom is Fuse, which allows you to fuse different items to weapons and shields. Sadly, when you go to un-fuse these items in Tears of the Kingdom through the menu, you destroy the item that’s fused to the weapon or shield. But there is a single place in Tears of the Kingdom where you can separate them and keep both items. Here’s our guide on how to un-fuse items in Tears of the Kingdom.
How do you un-fuse items in Tears of the Kingdom
To un-fuse items in Tears of the Kingdom, the first thing you’re going to need to do is head to Tarrey Town, on the north-east of the map. When you arrive here, you’re going to want to head for the Break-a-Part Shop. You can find this shop near the entrance to Tarrey Town, as it’s next door to the General Store. When you get there, you’re going to want to talk to Pelison, who’s standing on a stack of wood next to the General Store.
Upon talking to Pelison, you can then un-fuse your items in Tears of the Kingdom. After you pay the small fee of 20 rupees, you can then pick an item to un-fuse. This will take the item in your inventory and restore them to their original state, that would be the original weapon or shield you have, and the material you used to fuse to that weapon or shield.
After choosing the item you want to un-fuse in Tears of the Kingdom, Pelison will un-fuse it, and you can then claim the items from the area next to where Pelison is standing.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is available for purchase from the Nintendo Store.
