Tears of the Kingdom – Apple Pie recipe

In The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, apple pie is a base dessert, which you can modify by adding other ingredients on top of the four initially required.

To make apple pie, combine Apple, Tabantha Wheat, Cane Sugar, and Goat Butter. You can find most of those ingredients in the wild, and they are also available to purchase from merchants.

Apples are available nearly everywhere, in regular and golden varieties. We’ve written a separate guide on where to find golden apples. The first spot referenced on that list is truly without peer (and without pear).

We also wrote a guide telling you where to find and farm Tabantha Wheat. It is a plentiful crop once you know where to look. That leaves two other primary ingredients, which you may find it easiest to purchase. Buy Cane Sugar from the General Store in Rito Village. As the other ingredient is dairy-based, you may already have an idea where to check. Buy Goat Butter from the General Store in Hateno Village, or in Rito Village.

With the ingredients assembled, combine them in a pot over an open flame at your favorite cooking destination (I like using the one in Lookout Landing, since it is protected from the elements). If you mix your base ingredients with Hearty Truffle, you can temporarily extend your life meter or endurance. Don’t be afraid to experiment to find other variations, as well.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is available for purchase from the Nintendo Store.
