If you can find something in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and it’s not a weapon, there’s a good chance you can cook it up as part of a recipe. Some of the best recipes have terrific effects, or they’re required for side quests. Here is our guide on how to make Copious Fried Wild Greens in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
Tears of the Kingdom – how to make Copious Fried Wild Greens
Link sure does love frying up plants! Raw, they’re a way to give yourself a tiny boost to your life meter. But throwing them in a pot of water and cooking them over an open fire unlocks all sorts of new perks.
To make the Copious Fried Wild Greens, you need to combine any four unique vegetables and flowers. There are quite a lot of options, which means you shouldn’t ever have any trouble whipping up a batch when you need a boost.
The vegetables you can throw into the mix include several you can readily find or buy around Hyrule, such as the Swift Carrot and the Hyrule Herb. However, my preferred approach is to mix in a lot of flowers as my base ingredient. I’m forever grabbing them as I crisscross the landscape, plus they tend to grow densely in patches in some areas. I never seem to be in short supply.
As an example, you might have a lot of Silent Princess and Blue Nightshade plants sitting around your inventory screen. Mix those with the relatively common Hyrule Herb and some Swift Carrots (you can learn how to farm crops in Hateno Village to grow your own, or even buy them from that town’s general store). Those four convenient ingredients are enough to get results once you know how to make Copious Fried Wild Greens.
