Tears Of The Kingdom Link Trailer Outfit

How to get Link’s outfit from the trailers in Tears of the Kingdom (TotK)

Rocking the box art look.

The trailers for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom have been awesome. The final trailer’s hype really was on another level. The game itself is fantastic too, letting you go anywhere, do anything, with the only limit being your imagination. While you can wear any set of armor in Tears of the Kingdom, maybe you personally want to wear what you can see Link wearing in the trailers and promotional art. Luckily, that’s pretty easy to do for the most part, so here’s our guide on how to get Link’s outfit from the trailers in Tears of the Kingdom.

To start off with, let’s talk about the outfit. The outfit that this guide is going to cover is the one you see on the box of the game, and featured in the trailers. This is the outfit featuring the remixed Champion’s Tunic from Breath of the Wild. Let’s begin with that, shall we?

The Champion’s Leathers

Link’s tunic when he dons this outfit from the trailers is the Champion’s Leathers. You can obtain this by going to Hyrule Castle, we have an in-depth guide on how to obtain this tunic, and it looks great alongside most of the armor pieces in the game, even if you aren’t going for the look from the trailers.

The Hylian Armor Set

The Hylian set makes up the rest of Link’s trailer outfit. This means that Link wears the Hylian Hood, and the Hylian Trousers. You can buy this armor very early on into the game. When you descend from the Great Sky Island after completing the tutorial, you can head to Lookout Landing to continue the story, here, you can find the Hylian Armor set.

The Hylian Trousers are the trousers from Link’s outfit in the trailers with no changes, but the Hylian Hood is a bit different. Link’s Hylian Hood is lowered in the trailers, which also sees him don his hairstyle from Breath of the Wild. You can actually lower Link’s Hylian Hood in-game, but it takes a while to do so. You need to complete a side quest chain.

Once you do that though, you will have Link’s outfit from the trailers in Tears of the Kingdom. The outfit doesn’t need to be dyed to get the trailer outfit either, so you’re good to go as soon as you have all the pieces.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is available for purchase from the Nintendo Store.
