World bosses in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom are something you can find pretty easily. You can find yourself bosses such as Flux Constructs, a Hinox, and even Gleeoks. One of the world bosses you can find in Tears of the Kingdom is the Molduga. These bosses exist in the Gerudo Desert, and can be a bit tricky to deal with. Here’s our guide on how to defeat the Molduga in Tears of the Kingdom.

How to defeat Molduga in Tears of the Kingdom
The first thing you’re going to want to do when you begin your fight against a Molduga is to find yourself some high ground. This doesn’t have to actually be high up, just off the sand. I personally use a tiny rock to stay off the sand when I fight the Molduga in the south-east corner of the Gerudo Desert. This essentially keeps you safe from the Molduga at all times.
The second thing you’re going to need is a few arrows. I personally use around 12-15 when I fight a Molduga in Tears of the Kingdom, as you need to lure them in by using an arrow, and then use an arrow to make them easily targetable.
If you’ve got all that, and a Molduga, then it’s time to get hunting.
Fighting the Molduga
The first thing you’re going to want to do is fire an arrow to lure a Molduga into jumping. Do this close enough to you that you can fire an arrow at it after doing this, as we need to fuse an item to the arrow to knock it over and you can’t fuse a Keese Wing to it to make the arrow travel further.
Once the Molduga jumps into the air in Tears of the Kingdom, while it’s in the air, fuse a Bomb Flower to your arrow and then use that bomb arrow on the Molduga. This will knock it down onto its side and you can then run in and attack it. I can do this fight in the span of four Bomb Flowers at end game using weapons ranging from 38-50 damage. You can buy exactly that amount of Bomb Flowers from the shop in Tarrey Town, so if you’re out of them, you can go grab some there.
This is another reason why you shouldn’t fire the arrow that lures the Molduga too far away, you can’t get to it in time for decent damage if it’s far enough away. There’s no tactic to this part, just deal as much damage until it gets back up, then run back to the safe place where you were standing before.
Quick recap!
1. Get to the high ground.
2. Have plenty of arrows (I recommend 12-15).
3. Use Bomb flowers to knock it on its side for melee attacks.
4. Repeat!
Repeat these steps, and the Molduga should go down without much trouble.
