Less than a week after the release of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, players have already uncovered a glitch that can break the game wide open. This glitch grants players the ability to duplicate nearly any item in the game with relatively little effort. This includes items like diamonds, which can fetch incredibly high prices in shops, as well as highly damaging attachments to your weapons, such as Gleeok Horns. Of course, you probably shouldn’t use the glitch on your first playthrough to preserve the rewarding aspects of exploration. But if you want to go hog wild and duplicate all of the items you come across, then this Tears of the Kingdom guide will go over the steps.
What to do to duplicate items
Start by taking out your bow and then attaching one of your items to your arrow by hitting up on the d-pad. Then, press the + button, head over to the bow and arrow section of your inventory screen, drop your currently equipped bow, and equip a different one.
Next, quickly hit the + button twice so that you leave and then re-enter your inventory screen in rapid succession. You really need to make sure to do this step as fast as you can, otherwise, the glitch won’t work. Once that step is done, drop your equipped bow, unpause the game, and recollect both of your dropped bows. If you followed all of these steps correctly, then the amount of the item you attached to your arrow will go up by one.
Note that you can do this glitch as many times as you like, so you can completely max out your inventory with rare drops and other useful items without any of that pesky adventuring. Getting to duplicate items like this could especially come in handy in regard to selling diamonds and other rare items for rupees, as Tears of the Kingdom boasts a considerably less generous rupee economy compared to its predecessor.
