Where to Find the Action Camera in Sons of the Forest

How many doors are on this island?

As part of the latest content drop from Endnight Games, Sons of the Forest got many new items that you can find. Action Cameras are one of the newest additions to the game. You won’t be able to use the camera to take pictures, but you can view a strange video on it regarding the inhabitants of the island on it. And as future updates come out, there may be more Action Cameras to find and could expand the lore of the game. The Action Camera can be hard to find because it’s tucked away so well, this guide will help you locate where the action camera in Sons of the Forest.

Sons of the Forest: Where to find the Action Camera

Before we dive into this guide, it’s worthwhile to note that the area where the Action Camera is, is covered with enemies. So unless you’re playing on the easier Peaceful mode, it’s best to find a weapon like a pistol. Additionally, having a light source like a flashlight isn’t a bad idea either.

The first thing you want to do if you haven’t done it yet, is find the right keycard. They are all concentrated in one section of the map.

There are three keycards in the game, Maintenance, VIP, and the one you’ll need which is the Guest keycard. The keycard is on the western central part of the island. When you reach its location, look for a cave entrance, once you enter head down the long corridor till you reach a room. You’ll need a VIP keycard to enter the room.

From there, go through a gym and another room that is orange, and past the saunas. You reach a staircase, head upwards, and make your way past a pool room. After you should reach a nightclub, look for the bar. When you make it there, there should be bodies around with the Guest keycard on the table in front of them.

Location of the Action Camera

Make your way to the large lake on the eastern side of the island, the entrance will be on the eastern side of the large lake. There will be a linear path on the inside, follow it till you drop in the bunker itself. Then, there will be another corridor to follow. Go along when you reach stairs with doors at the end, use the Guest keycard to open it.

After you open the doors and follow the hallway, a cut scene should play. When it’s done, head to the next room there should be a door at the end leading into another room. Head through it and follow the corridor till you reach a stairway on your left.

Go up the stairs, and go through a door with the number 2 on it, there will be a couple of doors to go through. After you get past them, there should be stairs at the end, go down them. When you reach the bottom, follow the corridor, there should be a door on your left with the number 5 on it. Open it, and the Action Camera should be in there on a cabinet.
