The Riogok Shrine is a bit more out of the way than other early game Shrines, with an interesting final puzzle that is deceptively simple compared to the visual hints. If it left your head being scratched, you’re not alone. Here’s how to solve the final Riogok Shrine room in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
Riogok Shrine guide final room: Transferring force, but also not really
First of all, you’ll find the Shrine itself in the Hyrule Field area, on top of a mountain near a Mini Stable.
The Riogok Shrine starts out straightforward enough. You hit the activation stone and attach the stick between the two cogs to open the door.
The second and final room is not as visually clear, though. You have one stick lying on the ground.
Take it and attach it to this device to make a lever and then pull it with Ultrahand.
Now you have a second stick behind the door. What do you do with it, you may ask? It’s actually not to solve the puzzle. You need it to get the chest. Detach the lever stick and put the two sticks together side by side. Now use them as a makeshift bridge to climb to grab the chest.
Inside you find a Mighty Construct Bow. Nifty!

The actual puzzle itself doesn’t need the sticks to solve. All you have to do is this:
- Raise the lower platform up to max with Ultrahand and hold it there.
- Let it go and use Recall.
- Ascend through the platform.
- Ultrahand the upper platform to the max height.
- Recall that platform next.
- Ascend through it to the exit.
And done. It’s that easy. The giant cog in the room and the sticks don’t matter at all. Proceed out of the Shrine and get your blessing reward.
