How to support President Hudson Signs in Tears of the Kingdom (TotK)

No architect degree needed.

You’ll find many familiar faces throughout your time playing Tears of the Kingdom. One of these faces is none other than Hudson, who was a Hylian builder in Breath of the Wild. Now, he’s the president of the construction company attempting to rebuild Hyrule to its formal glory. But you won’t see Hudson at first, instead you’re likely to come across a sign of him with someone struggling to hold it up. If you’re trying to figure out how to support the President Hudson Signs in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, we can help you out.

How to help Addison support President Hudson Signs in Tears of the Kingdom

If you walk up to one of these signs, you’ll meet an NPC named Addison. He’s struggling to keep the President Hudson Sign upright, and if you help him out, there are some rewards. If you’re progressing through the main story, you’ll probably first spot Addison on the way towards Hyrule Castle. You can find Addison in many other areas in Hyrule, always trying to keep the signs upright.

If you’re not sure what to do, look towards the construction materials nearby. Using your Ultrahand ability, create a structure that can help support the President Hudson sign. It can be hit or miss on what works, depending on if gravity is your friend or not. I’ve met Addison twice already, and both times I tried a different structure. It took a few tries, but I eventually was able to ask him to let the sign go, and it stood fine.

Once you create a structure similar to mine, or your own special creation, tell Addison to let go. Now, he’ll be able to properly fix the sign. Each time you help him, he’ll give you a few random rewards. Sometimes it’s Rupees, other times it’s food, or maybe a Sleepover Ticket, which is a voucher for a lodging. No matter the reward, helping Addison support the President Hudson Signs in Tears of the Kingdom is worth it.
