Malanya's Location In Zelda Tears Of The Kingdom

Malanya is located in the far northeast portion of Hyrule in Akkala. More specifically, you can find him behind Death Mountain and close to the Akkala Ancient Tech Lab. However, before speaking with him, you must use an Endura Carrot to lure him out. Once done, you can talk to him to revive your horse.

Registering A Horse In Zelda Tears Of The Kingdom

The nice aspect of Malanya is that you can revive any dead horse you registered at a stable. So if you lost a horse long before locating Malanya, you could still revive it if you registered it at a stable. I mentioned this twice because I was unlucky enough to lose a horse I didn’t register at a stable. I decided to do another quest before doing so and paid the ultimate price for it, so don’t make the same mistake that I did! To register your horse, you must ride it to the front desk of a stable and pay 20 Rupees.

Those who unlocked the iconic Epona using an Amiibo can breathe a bit easier because it is possible to revive her by talking to Malanya just like a normal horse.
