Honkai Star Rail: Best build for Pela – Relics, Light Cones, Eidolons and Abilities

Icy cold debuffs.

When it comes to fighting enemies with annoying buffs, Pela is your girl. In Honkai: Star Rail, Pela is an Ice Combat type, with the Path of Nihility. Although she’s one of the few free characters you can get, she comes in handy when debuffing enemies. If you’re looking for the right Relics, Light Cones, Eidolons and Abilities for Pela’s best build, keep reading this Honkai: Star Rail guide.

How to build the best Pela in Honkai: Star Rail

Light Cones

Pela’s best move is her ability to take away enemy buffs, as well as lower their Ice defence. That’s why early on you should choose ‘Void‘ as a 3-star Light Cone. It increases her Effect Hit Rate for three turns at the start of the battle. This is important because you want Pela to be able to hit enemies with debuffs effectively.

If you’re reading for a 4-star Light Cone, try ‘Good Night and Sleep Well‘. This Light Cone makes enemies receive more DMG for every debuff they have. Another good option is ‘Resolution Shines As Pearls of Sweat‘. If Pela hits an enemy that isn’t Ensnared, there’s a better chance to Ensnare them. Those enemies’ DEF also decreases.

For Pela’s best 5-star Light Cone, we recommend ‘In the Name of the World‘, which increases DMG to debuffed enemies. Also, when Pela uses her Skill, her Effect Hit Rate and ATK increases.

  • Void – Any Warp Banner
  • Good Night and Sleep Well – Any Warp Banner
  • Resolution Shines As Pearls of Sweat – Any Warp Banner
  • In the Name of the World – Regular Warp, Light Cone Event Warp

Relics

There are two options for Pela’s best Relic set, which you can either use both as two-pieces, or on their own as four. The best Relics would be the ‘Thief of Shooting Star‘ set, which increases Pela’s Break Effect. She’ll be able to get through enemies’ toughness much easier.

The other Relic set that you could consider is called ‘Hunter of Glacial Forest‘. These Relics will increase Pela’s Ice DMG, and with four pieces can increase her CRIT DMG after using her Ultimate. Honestly, if you want either or, go with the set that increases her Break Effect. Pela’s not meant to be a main DPS, more of a support or sub-DPS.

Once you can give Pela Planar Ornaments, choose the ‘Pan-Galactic Commercial Enterprise‘ set. These will increase her Effect Hit Rate, while also increasing her ATK.

  • Thief of Shooting Star – Cavern of Corrosion: Path of Jabbing Punch, Silvermane Guard Restricted Zone, Jarilo-VI
  • Hunter of Glacial Forest – Cavern of Corrosion: Path of Gelid Wind, Storage Zone, Herta Space Station
  • Pan-Galactic Commercial Enterprise – Simulated Universe World 5, Herta’s Office, Herta Space Station

Abilities

Because of Pela’s highly useful ability to remove enemy buffs, upgrade her Skill ‘Frostbite‘ first on the Traces screen. Upgrading any Bonus Ability that helps her Skill is also vital. After that, you should focus on her Ultimate, as well as her Talent called ‘Data Collecting‘. The last thing you should upgrade is her Basic ATK.

Eidolons

Since Pela is a 4-star character, getting her in any Warp Banners isn’t too rare. So if you end up with her Eidolons, they’ll definitely come in handy. Not only does the first Eidolon help her restore Energy, the fourth Eidolon ‘Full Analysis‘ can highly reduce an enemy’s Ice RES.
