After you beat the Ukouh Shrine, you’ll cross over to the next plateau and see Rauru looking at a Zonai machine chopping a tree down. Next to this Zonai, you’ll see a Wood Cutting Axe buried in a tree stump.
This is where you’ll get a Wood Cutting Axe. You can use it as a weapon to fight enemies or use it to chop down trees.
