How to Complete the Gladiator Mission in Honkai: Star Rail

Don't talk about Fight Club.

Combat is one of the most exhilarating activities to engage in while playing Honkai: Star Rail. If you’re up to the challenge, once you reach Jarilo-VI, you can partake in a Fight Club. In the span of five rounds, you have to defeat waves of enemies in the ring. This is apart of the Gladiator Mission in Honkai: Star Rail, which we’ll explain how to complete.

To receive this Adventure Mission, you must be over Trailblaze Level 19, and must have completed the mission ‘Ring and Stage 1’. This mission introduces you to the Fight Club in Boulder Town. Each round gets more and more difficult, so keep reading to find out the best way to complete each round.

Round one

  • Best Elements: Wind and Lightning
  • Enemies: Two Automaton Spiders

The first round is the easiest, as you can see with these low-level enemies. You’ve probably fought Automaton Spiders before, so taking them out should be a breeze.

Round two

  • Best Elements: Fire, Lightning, Wind, and Imaginary
  • Enemies: One Vagrant, two Automaton Beetles

While the Vagrant is weak to Fire and Imaginary damage, the Automaton Beetles are weak to Wind, Lightning, and Imaginary damage. If you don’t have a character with Imaginary damage unlocked, don’t worry. This round may be tougher than the last, but if you have a Fire, Lightning, and Wind character, you should fare fine.

Round three

  • Best Elements: Fire, Lightning, Ice, Wind
  • Enemies: One Automaton Grizzly

Although it’s just one enemy, this one’s pretty resilient. Be wary of the fact that the Automaton Grizzly can bring forth Automaton Spiders, who are weak against Wind and Lightning damage. The spiders are easy to take down, so many sure to get rid of them quickly before they explode.

Round four

  • Best Elements: Fire, Ice, Lightning, Imaginary
  • Enemies: One Automaton Direwolf, one Vagrant

Now the stakes are rising. The Automaton Direwolf enjoys locking onto one party member, so use March 7th’s ‘Power of Cuteness’ ability to counter it with a shield. Gepard is also good, as he can deal Ice damage and give a shield to all allies with his Ultimate. The Vagrant shouldn’t be too difficult, but focus on protecting the teammate targeted by the Direwolf.

Round five

  • Best Elements: Ice, Lightning, Fire, Wind
  • Enemies: One Automaton Grizzly, one Automaton Direwolf

Finally, you’re at the last round. These two tough robots will take the perfect team to fight. Make sure you have a good healer, shielder, or even both. The Grizzly will summon spiders, and the Direwolf will use its lock-on ability. Focus on getting rid of one of these big guys first, preferably the Direwolf.
