Project Mugetsu Shikai tier list – all Shikai, ranked

What's the best Shikai?

After you’ve unlocked Shikai in Project Mugetsu, you’ll receive one of six different Shikai at random. Shikai are only available to Soul Reapers and offer a select group of abilities that can make you very powerful, especially if you have the best Shikai. Without further adieu, here are all the Shikai in Project Mugetsu ranked best to worst.

Project Mugetsu Shikai tier list, explained

  • S-Tier Shikai – Ryujin Jakka
  • A-Tier Shikai – Senbonzakura
  • B-Tier Shikai – Kaminishini, Hyorinmaru
  • C-Tier Shikai – Zangutsu

S-Tier Shikai in Project Mugetsu – Ryujin Jakka

Ryujin Jakka is the best Shikai in Project Mugetsu because it deals extremely high damage and applies fire damage. Fire damage is deadly because it deals damage over time. Ryujin Jakka has great close-range and long-range attacks and, when leveled up, has a guard-break ability. Overall, Ryujin Jakka is incredibly powerful.

Unfortunately, there is a 1% chance to roll Ryujin Jakka. The only way to get this OP Shikai is to use codes and get extremely lucky.

A-Tier Shikai in Project Mugetsu – Senbonzakura

Just below Ryujin Jakka is Senbonzakura. Though it doesn’t have fire capabilities, Senbonzakura deals very high damage and excels because of its many ranged attacks. Instead of troubling yourself with close-combat encounters that can leave you vulnerable to losing a lot of HP, with Senbonzakura, you can camp out and eliminate your enemies with ease.

B-Tier Shikai in Project Mugetsu – Kaminishini, Hyorinmaru

Kaminishini is the next best Shikai because, like Senbonzakura, it has a lot of successful ranged attacks. Unlike Senbonzakura, Kaminishini equips you with a spear that is great for keeping your enemies at a distance. It isn’t as powerful as the first two Shikai on this list, but it’s definitely not bad.

Hyorinmaru is a solid Shikai that deals frost damage. While frost damage can be great for freezing your opponents that don’t have the best clan buffs, the damage dealt with Hyorinmaru doesn’t compete. There are some nice offensive and defensive abilities that incorporate frost which makes Hyorinmaru fun but not too fierce.

C-Tier Shikai in Project Mugetsu – Zangutsu

The worst Shikai in Project Mugetsu is Zangutsu which is the most common. The moves for Zangutsu are basic but will help you familiarize yourself with the potential of Shikai. The damage isn’t as good as other Shikai, but the AoE and guard-breaking moves can still be effective.

Note: If you want to get a Shikai, you need to know how to get to Soul Society.
