How to open Maria’s Room in Demonologist

Demonologist is the newest spooky ghost-finding game to hit the market and it hides a wealth of little surprises. One of the lesser-known, and harder-to-find, easter eggs is how to open Maria’s room in Demonologist. The requirement for this room is very particular and has had players scratching their heads for a while. The room, located in Cyclone Street, was teased by the team in a tweet. Read on to find out just how to get into Maria’s Room.

How to open Maria’s Room in Demonologist

The process is convoluted but lines up perfectly with the horror movie tropes we all know and love. Fans of the genre will be familiar with a lot of steps in this riddle.

Before you start out on this challenge, make sure you have the Ectoplasm Glass and your microphone turned on.

1. Make your way to Maria’s Room in Demonologist and stare at the door for a few seconds. You will hear an “occurrence” inside the room.
2. Using your camera, head to the wall with the fireplace and zoom into the word “Smile.” Using your microphone, also say the word “Smile.”
3. Head to the bedroom closet and look for a purse. Speak the word “Lust” into your microphone.
4. Whip out your Ectoplasm Glass and look at the wall until you find a sign that says “3 AM.” Locate the three nearby clocks and change the time to 3 AM. You will know you’ve got it right when you hear a clock chime.
5. Head back down to the basement and look for the bookshelf. On the bookshelf, you will spot a spooky tome called Limbo. Speak the words “Limbo” into your mic and you will notice a corridor opening.
6. Head into this passageway and speak the words: “They’ll come for me” into your mic.
7. Finally, in a classic horror movie trope, head back to the top floor bathroom and speak the words “Bloody Mary” into your microphone three times. This will open Maria’s Room in Demonologist.
