The two first blocks you farm are abundant and can be found pretty much anywhere. They are the building blocks of your new domain. You will use enormous amounts of wood and stone in any game, so ensure you always have an Allay harvesting them. The rest of the blocks take a little finding, so take a look and memorize their locations.

  • Wood – This is readily available everywhere across the map. Just look for the trees, obviously.
  • Stone – Pretty much everywhere you look. Keep an eye out for the tall peaks of grey stone.
  • Diamond – Make your way to the Tundra and Jagged Peaks to find diamonds. You’ll see them glistening on the surface of the ground. You’ll need these for building the Skeleton mobs.
  • Redstone – You’re going to have to get deep into that humid air to collect this resource used for making Zombies. Swamp and Jungle hide the Redstone block in Minecraft Legends!
  • Coal – Meadows and Badlands are the Minecraft Legends block locations for coal. You can see them sitting on the surface of the ground with their grey and black coloring.
  • Iron – Fatelands, forests, and Dry Savanna are the locations you need to look for to find the resource needed for Creepers. It is abundant, you won’t struggle to locate these blocks.

A few notes on resource blocks

You may have noticed that the absolute wasteland left by the Piglins in Minecraft Legends is unfarmable after you pound them to pâté. You can actually use a type of block to cure the Netherrack left behind by these polluters. Unlock the Cure Netherrack improvement to turn the scorched earth to resource-rich ground.

It is also always worth keeping an eye on your resources, there is nothing worse than running out of a resource halfway through a build. Try to improve your storage as soon as possible, and any time you pass through an area make sure to drop a few collection points down.
