The Scavenger is one of the new bosses in Warzone 2 DMZ and he can be hard to find. Unlike the Chemist or the Bombmaker who are easy to find but hard to kill, the Scavenger is hard to find and easier (still not easy) to kill. Prep your best Active Duty Operator Slot because here’s how to find the Scavenger in Warzone 2 DMZ.
Warzone 2 DMZ: How to find the Scavenger
The only way to find the Scavenger in Warzone 2 DMZ is to eliminate Operators, which are other online players. The Scavenger only comes out of hiding to collect dog tags which are only found on dead Operators. So, if you want to find the Scavenger, you need to find and kill enemy Operators or get lucky and stumble upon dead enemy Operators.

Once you have found an enemy Operator’s body and it still has its dog tags, it can take up to three to 10 minutes for the Scavenger to arrive. He may have already arrived which is indicated by finding his calling card instead of dog tags on enemy Operators.
The Scavenger is usually surrounded by four or five powerful AI Combatants, so watch out for that. If you take your time and proceed with force, you’ll be able to easily kill the Scavenger, who is the one in the dark ghillie suit, and his entourage.
Another way to find the Scavenger is to find him on the map. While on Ashika Island or Al Mazrah, if the Scavenger has appeared, he will be marked on the map with an icon as seen in the image above. If you see that icon, go over to it, clear out the Scavenger’s troops, and then eliminate the Scavenger.
Whether you find and eliminate enemy Operators, stumble upon the Scavenger’s calling card, or see the Scavenger icon on the map, you now know all the ways to find the Scavenger in Warzone 2 DMZ.
