Dying Light 2: Bloody Ties guide – How to find Ogar’s hidden cache and armor in The Only Hope

Finding Ogar

The Only Hope is a sidequest in Dying Light 2: Bloody Ties that only becomes available as you progress further in the story. Complete more Carnage Hall activities to increase your fame ranking and, eventually, Ogar will contact you.

Once the quest appears in your journal, track it and head to the subway behind Carnage Hall. Pass through the narrow openings here, and you should find Ogar in a secluded room. He says that he used to have sturdy pieces of armor lying around, and he left it in his old room.

Go back to Carnage Hall and follow the marker. You’ll stumble upon more narrow openings that let you pass through obstacles and collapsed furniture. Soon, you’ll find Ogar’s room. You’re then told that you need to look for the hidden cache.

To find Ogar’s hidden cache in Dying Light 2: Bloody Ties, you’ll want to press “Q” to activate your Survivor Senses. Then, interact with the objects with magnifying glass icons (i.e., mannequin/scrap armor, weapons/tools, tiger pelt rug, and the like).

As you attempt to pry open the loose block near the rug, a fighter who looks like Kratos will appear. Choose your dialogue response and beat him up. He’ll surrender and provide more info.

Next, talk to the crafting vendor in Carnage Hall. She’ll inform you that a guy named Stamma might have what you’re looking for.

This time, head to Quarry End. You should see an apartment building near the power plant.

There’s an open window on the second floor, allowing you to reach the interior.

Inside, talk to Stamma to obtain the basement key. Follow the stairs leading down and open the door.

In the basement, activate your Survivor Senses once more and interact with the objects, such as the medals and poster.

Suddenly, your flashlight will turn off. Stamma appears and he wants to kill you. Take him out and you’ll receive Ogar’s Glory Days Outfit.

Return to Ogar in Carnage Hall’s metro station and talk to him. This will conclude The Only Hope sidequest.

As for Ogar’s armor in Dying Light 2: Bloody Ties, you won’t actually receive individual pieces. For all that bluster about something that can protect you when you fight Skullface, the outfit that you got from Stamma is just a cosmetic piece (i.e., transmogrification).

You can activate it by opening Aiden’s stash and clicking on the item. It will replace the look of all armor pieces that you’ve equipped, though you’ll retain their default stats.
