Asterigos: Curse of the Stars – Marble boss guide (Arges Plaza)

The Marble boss fight in Asterigos: Curse of the Stars occurs after Hilda’s trial. There, you’ll battle three groups of enemies (the same ones you’ve been trouncing throughout the level). Ideally, you don’t want to waste too many flasks, since the boss fight happens once you reach the end of the path. However, if you do die while fighting Marble, you won’t need to do the trial/gauntlet anymore.

In any case, the crux of the encounter is Minerva. At the start, she’ll be frozen. You can destroy the icicles using your regular attacks or skills, but try to keep an eye on where Marble is.

Once Minerva is freed, she’ll periodically cast a blue orb. This replenishes your AP, allowing you to use your skills more often.

As for Marble, he’s got the following abilities:

  • Blade Barrage – Marble has a multi-hit combo chain which can be a pain to dodge if you run out of stamina.
  • Blade Throw – If you’re a bit further away, he’ll just fling his weapon straight at you.
  • Cold Snap – The boss will leap and crash down, creating a freezing shockwave.
  • Shatter – If you get frozen in place, multiple icicles will strike you.

There are a few ways to go about this. As usual, Blade Dance (twin daggers skill) is useful and cost-effective. If you want to fight from a distance, Astral Storm (staff skill) is viable as long as you keep replenishing your AP via Minerva’s orbs. And, of course, there’s your parry and thrust counter with the spear. You should be able to clear the Marble boss fight in Asterigos: Curse of the Stars soon enough.
