Re:Legend will leave early access on September 6. As part of the RPG farming sim‘s version 1.0 launch, developer Magnus Games Studio has a huge update planned. This update for Re:Legend will overhaul several key gameplay features and add a ton of new content for players to try out.
A recent developer blog on Steam revealed the specifics of the update. Version 1.0 will introduce two new biomes, a completed story and narrative, 58 new Magnus to tame, over 100 new pieces of equipment to acquire, new fish, and a new NPC. This NPC runs a cosmetics shop that will allow players to customize how they look.
Moreover, there’s a wide variety of smaller but still impactful content planned for version 1.0. Some examples include new skill runes, house decorations, and barn floors. It’s clear from all of this newly announced content that this update will give Re:Legend players plenty to do.
It isn’t just new content that’s coming to the game. Magnus Games Studio has taken the opportunity to rework various features. This includes an overhauled multiplayer system, a marriage mechanic, the ability to reset stats, and cloud save support.
Those more interested in optimization and quality of life improvements don’t need to worry. The launch update features a user interface rework, various improvements to game optimization, over 9000 bug fixes, and balance adjustments to the majority of content. The optimization improvements promise to increase FPS and decrease memory usage.
Get ready to start over
Update 1.0 for Re:Legend is so big that your old save files will no longer work. All players will have to begin a new save file to play this update. This may upset some players, but given the sheer scale of the update, it’s probably best to start over anyway. That way you’ll have the chance to experience this improved version of Re:Legend in its entirety.
