All Zombies Must Die! coming this autumn

This article is over 13 years old and may contain outdated information

The team behind the undead-shooter Burn Zombie Burn! are set to release its spiritual successor All Zombies Must Die! later this year.
doublesix will be bringing a mix of weapons-based arena combat with light RPG elements to the PSN and Steam. Featuring a gamer, a girl, a mad scientist and an alien, the game drop players into the town of Deadhill where they must dispose of the brain hungry zombies through a variety of quests with a large arsenal at their disposal.
The RPG elements include levelling, weapon unlocks, new character unlocks and weapon crafting, and it’s all packaged up on a comic style.
Weapons will include the Magma Storm Assault Rifle, Odin’s Toothpick Katana and the Dragon’s Breath Shotgun. Players will be able to dispose of the hordes by shooting them, slashing them to pieces, blowing them up, well you get the picture.
Jim Mummery, creative director at doublesix says “After the success of Burn Zombie Burn, we’ve been looking forward to dishing up a new serving of undead craziness but this is no straight sequel.  All Zombies Must Die! has its own unique ingredients with weapons-based arena combat, weapon crafting, character development, a whole lot of questing and much much more – all mixed in with a huge portion of zombie action.“
