Carbine Studios ready for big GamesCom MMO reveal

This article is over 13 years old and may contain outdated information

Today Carbine Studios revealed they will be bringing their unannounced MMO project to Cologne for a big reveal.
The world exclusive reveal will take place at GamesCom on the opening day of the world’s largest gaming festival. NCSoft and Carbine have been keeping the project well under wraps but today Carbine’s Executive Producer Jeremy Gaffney revealed a little more in a developer blog update on the Carbine website.
While we don’t know the name of the new title or even what this new MMO will be about other than it’s a Sci-fi MMO, it all sounds rather exciting. The project will be revealed during a press conference at the NCSoft booth on 17 August at GamesCom. Gaffney also pointed out they will be taking the game to PAX Prime in Seattle.
“We’ve been working on our game in stealth mode for a long while – waiting for the day when we could finally start showing our friends, fans and competitors what all the secrecy was about.” Gaffney added in his blog update.
Carbine certainly has the staff onboard to make a top-notch MMO with credits that include Vanguard, EQ2, City of Heroes and World of Warcraft.
IncGamers will be on hand to bring you all the info from GamesCom when it happens so stay tuned.
