As you progress further in Dying Light 2, you’ll be asked to capture a facility so it can be assigned to either the Survivors or Peacekeepers. This is part of the game’s City Alignment and faction rewards mechanic. Now, as far as these locations go, you’ll also need to complete certain tasks. Here’s our Dying Light 2 guide to help you with Electrical Stations and Water Stations, as well as the puzzles that you need to solve therein.
Note: For more information, check out our Dying Light 2 guides and features hub.
Dying Light 2 Electrical Stations and Water Towers guide – Parkour and puzzles
During your Dying Light 2 campaign, you’ll receive a main quest called Water Tower. In it, you’ll go to, uh, well, a Water Tower in the Horseshoe district. This segment serves as a tutorial regarding City Alignment and faction rewards. Later, you’ll also tackle the puzzles in Electrical Stations during A Place To Call Home and Broadcast. As for the other facilities, you can reach them while free-roaming (they’re not tied to specific quests).
Anyway, you can refer to the pages and separate guides below for the parts that you need help with:
- Water Towers: Horseshoe, The Wharf/Muddy Grounds, and Lower Dam Ayre/Saint Paul
- A Place To Call Home: Downtown Electrical Station
- Broadcast: Garrison Electrical Station
- Houndfield Electrical Station
- Saint Paul Electrical Station
Note 1: The Water Towers and Electrical Stations in Dying Light 2 have another nifty reward. You’ll find at least one Inhibitor in most of these areas. They might be out in the open, or they could be inside safes.
Note 2: You can see a map below where I’ve encircled the icons/locations of these facilities. Assigning all of these to a faction nets you the “Municipal Services” achievement.
