Genshin Impact version 2.3 livestream coming soon

Version 2.2 of Genshin Impact is coming to a close, and with every end is a new beginning. Version 2.3 is heading soon to Genshin Impact, and as per usual, miHoYo is hosting a livestream on Twitch to showcase some of the new upcoming updates. We already know some of them, namely, that Version 2.3 is a patch comprised of rock-hard Geo characters. But we all know why we love these streams (the free Primogems!).

Jokes aside, the assortment of manly Geo energy coming next patch should be a huge focus of the stream. Arataki Itto and Gorou are two confirmed characters coming to Genshin Impact. Itto is a 5-star main DPS who wields a Claymore, and Gorou will be at his side as a 4-star Bow character who is literally designed to support Geo characters. (Seriously, he’s pretty much useless for anything else.)

When is the upcoming livestream?

The Genshin Impact Version 2.3 livestream will be streamed live on miHoYo’s official Twitch and TikTok channels on November 12. You’ll have to rise up early in the morning to enjoy the show, however, as the show is broadcasting at 7 AM ET. Aside from the new characters, you can expect to get some new information on a brand new Albedo-focused event, as well as some new artifact sets meant to empower Geo characters and healers.

For those who miss the livestream, miHoYo always uploads an archive of it on YouTube soon after broadcasting. If you’re like me and can’t go to bed at a normal hour anymore, this is the best option for you. Either way, we all know the biggest prize at the conclusion of any livestream is the free Primogems we get. So don’t forget to claim your free reward codes that will be presented throughout the stream. We’re all going to need some more gems to bring Itto home.
