The Horizon Festival Playlist has several objectives for you to complete. Doing so provides various rewards, including cars like the Mercedes-AMG E63, Alpine A110, and Honda NSX-R GT. Here’s our Forza Horizon 5 guide to help you with the Horizon Festival Playlist (Spring – Hot Season) tasks.

Forza Horizon 5 Horizon Festival Playlist guide: Spring – Hot Season
The Horizon Festival Playlist (Spring – Hot Season) in Forza Horizon 5 has been around since November 5. Those who own the Premium Edition, or the Premium Edition upgrade if you already have access to the base game via Xbox Game Pass, have had access to it for the past few days already.
Still, you can catch up even if you only own the base game/Standard Edition. But, you have less than two days to do so before the next season begins. Anyway, our goals are as follows:
- Reach 16 points for the Alpine A110.
- Reach 26 points for the Honda NSX-R GT.
- Optional: Reach 38 points (maximum for Spring – Hot Season for the “Min, Meet Max” achievement.
Forzathon Weekly Challenge
This Horizon Festival Playlist challenge in Forza Horizon 5 requires you to use the Nissan Fairlady Z to complete several drifting-related tasks. The car itself can be obtained via the Accolades menu as soon as you smash your first fast travel board. As for tuning, you can download those that can boost the car’s capabilities further. For instance, there’s the “Easy Forzathon” customization from a player named Ugrundy.
Note 1: The objectives here seem to be bugged. The remaining steps were completed while I was doing the first drifting challenge.
Note 2: There are other tallies that have car restrictions (i.e., type or manufacturer). In these situations, you’ll always want to look for custom tune-ups that can help you out.
Forzathon Points and Daily Activities
There are activities that reset each day. Completing these nets you Forzathon Points (used in the Forzathon Shop) and one point for your Horizon Festival Playlist progression. Examples include Care Package (send a car gift drop to another player) and No Signal (smash five phone booths). You can see a location for some quick and easy phone booth destruction in the image below.
Photo Challenge: Mural Compass
To complete the Mural Compass challenge in the Horizon Festival Playlist in Forza Horizon 5, you should be driving a modern sports car. Next, go to the location in Mulege (seen in the image below). It’s the T-junction that’s south of your first player home (Casa Bella). Once you’re in front of the mural, activate Photo Mode. Then, press the right shoulder button (RB) to get this tally done.
Horizon Tour
This is a series of races where your team has to outpace your foes. More points are awarded if you manage to finish a race ahead of players on the opposing team.
Seasonal Playground
These are team-based minigames with slight variations of “tag.” For instance, you drive cars while pretending to be “zombies” and you need to “infect” the other players. Meanwhile, there’s another mode where you have to prevent players from reaching the scoring area with their flag (i.e., pretend you’re a goalkeeper who needs to ram them).
Monthly Rivals
This is a time trial head-to-head. Your first rival posted a time of eight minutes, which means you’re guaranteed a victory. However, you’re also required to post a clean lap, which means you can’t hit barricades or obstacles.
The Eliminator and Forza Arcade
The Eliminator and Forza Arcade are two game modes that you can try out. Just participating in one of these adds progress to your Horizon Festival Playlist in Forza Horizon 5. The Eliminator is a battle royale minigame where you need to find car drops, all while avoiding a shrinking map. Horizon Arcade, meanwhile, is a set of minigames where you and others in the vicinity try to cooperate to increase your total points/skill scores.
Forza Horizon 5 is available via Steam and Xbox Game Pass. For more information, check out our guides and features hub.
