Tropico 4’s island paradise won’t tax your PC

This article is over 13 years old and may contain outdated information

Even PC owners with fairly old system specs will be able to handle the island economy/dictatorship sim Tropico 4.
Publisher Kalypso has sent through the refreshingly un-taxing requirements, which you can read below:
Minimum Required:

Processor: 2 GHz Dual Core CPU
Memory: 1 GB RAM
HDD: 5 GB free hard disk space

Much like Tropico 3, this fourth installment will see you take the role of El Presidente, glorious (and possibly unelected) ruler of a small island nation. New features, like the ability to elect a council of ministers, are promised. But I strongly suspect the aim of the game will remain the same: fill your secret Swiss bank account with as much ill-gotten loot as possible.
Tropico 4 will be released for both PC and Xbox 360 on 26 August in the UK and 1 September in the US.
