Rumor: FIFA 17 Might Change Its Game Engine

There are rumors floating around the internet that FIFA 17 might change its game engine. According to GameInformer, the developers of the game have decided that the title should transition from the Ignite Engine to DICE’S well-known Frostbite engine.

According to this report, that change will not only affect the FIFA franchise, since EA has decided to use their Frostbite engine on every Sports games they own. The transition from Ignite to Frostbite engine should be completed during the next two years.

If this is true, we will probably hear more about that during their presentation at E3 2016, since FIFA 17 will launch in September 2016.
