It’s been a couple of months since the Riders Republic closed beta ended and the extreme sports junkies had to put away their virtual skis, boards, bikes, and wingsuits. But it’s time to dust off your gear, because the Riders Republic PC Play Day drops tomorrow. It will begin at 3 AM ET on October 12 and will run until 3 AM ET on October 13.
During the PC Play Day, Riders Republic will be free to play. However, as the name suggests, it is for PC only and is exclusive to Ubisoft Connect. You can already pre-load the game for the Play Day by visiting the game’s website.
Take to the slopes and skies
In the Riders Republic PC Play Day, you will be able to access all five of the game’s career progressions. What’s more, you’ll be able to go it alone in solo mode or try them in PvP against other players.
I’m really looking forward to the multiplayer modes, and all of them will be available to try during the Play Day. There’s the chaotic Mass Race, which features over 50 players bombing down the mountainside together. In the closed beta, just one mass race available. On the Play Day, there will be three unique races.
The other three multiplayer modes are Versus Mode, Tricks Battle, and Free for All. I got to try Versus Mode and Tricks Battle during the closed beta and both are fun. Tricks Battle was a surprise winner for me. I really enjoyed attempting to outscore players around the arena. Hopefully, players will be able to try more arenas and courses in these modes during the Play Day.
Ubisoft revealed that the tutorial for Riders Republic will be disabled for the PC Play Day to allow players to drop straight into the action. So, if you’re trying the game for the first time, you may be a little overwhelmed at first. You can check out my closed beta preview of Riders Republic to help you find your feet.
