Genshin Impact: Warding Stone and Paper Charm puzzles guide

After helping Neko the cat, you’ll return to Eiko and Taisuke. You’ll now be able to solve the Warding Stone puzzles so you can end the thunderstorms on Seirai Island. Here’s our Genshin Impact guide to help you with the Warding Stone and Paper Charm puzzles in the Seirai Stormchasers quest.

Genshin Impact: Seirai Stormchasers quest guide – Warding Stone and Paper Charm puzzles

Remember that you need to touch the three Paper Charms for each Warding Stone puzzle that you encounter. The goal here is to rotate the stones (one set at the top and one set at the bottom). If you do it right, you’ll match the symbols and they’ll glow.

Each puzzle that you complete shrinks the area affected by the thunderstorm and lightning strikes, allowing you to collect Amakumo Fruit for the Raiden Shogun with relative ease.

Warding Stone puzzle #1:

• Rotate the top once.
• Then, rotate the bottom thrice.

Warding Stone puzzle #2:

• Two of the Paper Charms are readily seen. The third requires you to use the Phase Gate which takes you to a nearby island. If you use the Phase Gate there, it’ll bring you to a platform with the third Paper Charm.
• For the puzzle itself, just rotate the top thrice.

Warding Stone puzzle #3:

• Rotate the Phase Gate in this location until it’s got a purple glow. Pass through it and it’ll take you to ledges that are further up.
• Use the Thunder Boughs/Electrograna grapples and tag the fast travel point. Continue using the grapples until you’ve interacted with all Paper Charms.
• For the puzzle itself, rotate the bottom once, then rotate the top twice. To be honest, I might’ve messed up here because I don’t remember if I accidentally clicked on the puzzle beforehand.

Warding Stone puzzle #4:

• Keep using the grapples until you reach the higher platforms.
• For the puzzle, rotate the bottom twice. Then, rotate the top twice.

The lightning in this zone will have dissipated by now. However, stone blocks have started forming, creating an arena nearby. It’s time for us to fight the Thunder Manifestation. Let’s discuss this elite boss in the next part of our Genshin Impact Seirai Stormchasers guide series.
