It’s taken a while (about a year, in fact) but Paradox and Kerberos Studios are ready to make the bold claim that Sword of the Stars II is “in good condition”. If you were one of the people who bought the game on release, you’ll inevitably remember that it was a title in quite a bad state.

A forthcoming ‘Enhanced Edition’ will give the game a second, hopefully much more stable, launch when it’s released on 30 November. This new version adds an expansion, “End of Flesh,” featuring the Loa. A former slave race, the Loa is “a shape shifting artificial intelligence that can settle some of the most foreboding of landscapes.”

“End of Flesh” will be free for anyone who bought the original Sword of the Stars II.

Here’s the trailer.
