Whether you’re doing Rebel Missions or looking for Paladin armor pieces, there’s a good chance that you’d end up visiting Pruvinis Fort. You’ll find a map here that tells you about bandits that ransacked the area, leaving with a unique weapon in tow. Here’s our Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: The Siege of Paris Ulfberht Sword guide to help you with the treasure map and the location of a weapon called Egbert.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: The Siege of Paris – Ulfberht Sword (Egbert) Pruvinis treasure map and weapon location guide
The Pruvinis treasure map can be found on a desk near the fort’s ruined tower. Eivor will say that the Ulfberht Sword is valuable and you need to find it.
Based on the illustration, we can see that the bandits took the weapon north near the riverbend:
Take a look at the world map of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: The Siege of Paris. It looks like the weapon location that matches the drawing on the treasure map is none other than Bilhaut.
Make your way there and scout ahead using your raven:
When you reach the area, you’ll find a lone Norse bandit who has the Ulfberht Sword called Egbert. Apparently, he’s been driven mad by greed, killing all his comrades just to keep the weapon.
You have three options:
- Threaten him (you’ll need level 2 charisma from Flyting).
- Give him 3,000 silver.
- Challenge him to a fight.
The first two options will resolve this matter without any issues. If you challenge the bandit to a fight, though, then be ready. In my experience, he was actually at 503 power. He’s got some quick attacks, as well as a special move where he throws a smoke bomb that’ll temporarily obscure your vision.
Taking him out lets you obtain the Ulfberht Sword (Egbert) as well. Its perk increases the stun rate after each hit (this effect can occur up to 10 times).
Oh, and before you leave Bilhaut, check the wooden crates to find a key. The room you unlock has a Tungsten Ingot and an explosive jar.
You can throw the jar behind the waterfall to destroy the breakable wall. Inside is a Treasure Hoard map for the Melunois region.
