Sega had originally intended for the much anticipated RTS, Total War: Warhammer, to launch on April 28, 2016. However, Sega announced today that the release date of the title will be pushed back one month, launching on May 24, 2016.
Mike Simpson, Creative Director of the title had this to say about the delay:
This could be the best Total War game we’ve ever made. We don’t want to rush it. It’s an enormous game and we also want to make absolutely sure reviewers have enough time to play it thoroughly before launch. Many thanks to the huge number of people who have pre-ordered and are eagerly awaiting release day. We’re pulling out all the stops for you.
